AMD Starts Shipping 90nm Mobile Athlon 64, Officially
AMD has officially confirmed the start of shipments of its processors, manufactured in compliance with 90nm standards – yesterday the company began shipping Mobile Athlon 64 on the Oakville core, intended for use in thin and light laptops. Thus, the processors based on the 90nm Odessa core, which will have to debut in servers, will not become the first 90nm products of the company.
